ZfU (Journal of Environmental Policy & Environmental Law) provides an in-depth information and discussion platform for all issues relating to business and social aspects of environmental policy.
Papers in English are welcome.
ZfU is the leading periodical on environental policy in the German-speaking part of Europe. Since its foundation in 1975 (among others by Professor Klaus Töpfer) it has served as a forum of interdisciplinary exchange in the environmental social sciences. It deals with economic, political science, sociological and legal questions of environmental protection including their ecological implications, as well as with new environmental policy concepts and their national and international implementation. Since its establishment, the journal ZfU has often been the starting point of a publishing career for young scientists who are renowned today. It is listed in the American Economic Association EconLit Journal List and part of VHB-JOURQUAL3. In the Handelsblatt ranking it has been repeatedly classified as a B journal (0.2 points). The peer review process is "single blind", i.e. each article is independently evaluated and annotated by two anonymous peer reviewers.
